A Replacement for Large Scale Fossil-fuel Power

Another issue is the heavy dependance of certain 3rd world nations on Oil-fired power as a source of electricity as a temporary measure.especially those which have realized the flaws of over-dependance on hydro-power.Although the logic of the day is that:
  • Big Power Projects
    • enjoy Greater economies of scale
    • easier to manage than mulitple mini projects
    • focuses resources with greater efficently
The problem in the current global economic situation with the additional issue of enviromental considerations make Big Power Projects:
  • Difficult to finance
  • Longer construction time
  • ROI only occurs after completion
It is with this in mind that I suggest a more organic approach to the electrical infrastructure problem. In which multiple micro-power plants utilizing a diverse set of renewable energy sources, be made the primary goal of all 3rd World Economies
